Why IDnow? Why not Jumio.com?

They do identity verification on documents from 200 countries and they even have an ePassport option where you scan the machine readable OCR code in your passport then read it's RDFI chip to cross check each other to verify passport is genuine

If you think of SEPA closing time like closing time in a shop, if the door is shut at 6pm can you get in at 6pm, so my guess is it is likely you missed it if it was right on the hour

As a general rule, SEPA Funds Transfers may take 1 to 2 Banking Days to be credited to the beneficiary bank, As to if it made the cut off point would be a bit of a guess if it was that close......

If I send a SEPA payment AT the exact cut-off time, is there a chance it'll make the cut-off or is it guaranteed to miss it?

It is shown on my statement as being sent at the exact minute of the cut-off.

UK banks are always behind European banks. More expensive, lower grade service, services missing. I thought Fidor et al. was to change all that.

SEPA then, since the fee is low (lower than a UK high street bank).

When will we get Fidor <-> Kraken transfers on Fidor like Fidor Germany?

Ignore that support page. It only relates to Fidor Germany account customers and is not appropriate for Fidor UK customers

How long do transfers from Natwest take?
I made a transfer from my bank account on Saturday afternoon. It is now Monday afternoon but my Fidor account balance is still £0.00.

This is why I struggle to see Fidor as anywhere near a proper bank. This is headline news if it happens to any other bank.
