Been trying to transfer remaining funds from my Fidor account but I never receive the SMS.

Is the system broken?

@RichardBurt, you presumed correctly. We have been rather unlucky regarding the deployments of these services and to be candid, we are way past our deadlines to bringing these services.

We sure will inform everyone on the community about changes when they do come. Afterall, the community is our first point of communication for our customers

I would like to state that Fidor handled this misplaced transfer much quicker than the last one, and were very apologetic. I want to stay with Fidor, but I hope these sort of problems can be ironed out. Thanks.

has replied to a question:

I think it will probably vary from bank to bank, and if you decide you want overdraft facilities etc, I would imaging the old style legacy banks have an automated credit reference process set up, but the newer fintech style banks where overdrafts are not offered have no need for a credit reference check. I have many current accounts and it doesn't seem to have affected my rating in a bad way, but it may not be like that for everyone, each case is individual.

Does the number of current accounts have an effect on your credit rating? + does switching regularly have an effect too?

From your comment I presume you are a Fidor employee?

I understand that exact dates cannot be given but it would be nice to get a more feedback, more regularly from the Fidor team to let us know what problems, challenges etc are going on.

Talk to us!
