If I was lucky enough to win next months premium bond £1 million prize and had it paid into my Fidor account would it get there without breaking any rules (ie maximum deposit etc)?

Ignore the lack of BACS for the moment.

I asked this question to the Revolut people and their maximum deposit is £125,000. Anything over that and the deposits are blocked.

That is because Revolut is NOT a bank but an eMoney regulated institution without statutory deposit protection.

Fidor UK, being a bank with €100,000 cover for depositor protection, does not have any such limit. You can pay in millions although of course you would not be covered by the deposit protection scheme above €100,000
