Fidor do not accept cheques as far as I am aware......

Shame they don't have a tie in with the Post Office like some of the other well known banks.

I think it's all traditional banks now sal2015.

Not all traditional banks but all major high street banks (however only for certain account types and certain card types) and some branch based challenger banks such as Handelsbanken and Metro. Metro bank only signed up their business customers initially. I am not sure if that has changed and hence personal customers can use it or not. Monese now provide next business day deposits thru the Post Office and same day instant top up thru PayPoint outlets.

No solutions yet from Fidor on cash and cheque deposits.
New legislation introduced in 2017 requires banks to have technology for depositing cheques via electronic means e.g. scan cheque with your phone instead of going to a branch.

It's taken them this long to do away with one excellent reason to not use the debit card for on line purchases, and amazingly, or is it? replaced with another.
A 12 year old could run a better operation than this, from his bedroom when his mum's not looking.
